Venetian masquerade masks Cheap and expensive

By

Attending an event that requires a masquerade ball mask?

If you have some sort of special occasion in the future that states that attendees are required to wear Venetian masquerade masks then you have probably found this article while trying to find out what a reasonable price for a ball mask should be.

This can be a little confusing so I have put together this short article to give a little information to outline rough prices that you should be looking at for a couple of different Venetian mask types at both ends of the scale, both cheap and expensive.

Whatever type of mask you finally decide to buy, it is always worth looking through a few extra websites until you can find a price that is right so bear that in mind before you give out any payment details, if you are anything like my you will typically make your purchase and then regret it after finding something just as suitable at a more reasonable price elsewhere.

Paper Mache Masquerade Masks

The vast majority of masquerade masks that you come across online will be made from paper mache, this is the cheapest kind of mask that you can buy and is ideal if you are not planning on using the mask again. Stick to the lower end of the price range particularly if this is the case.

Expect to pay anywhere between $30 and $165 for a good quality mask, the more you are willing to pay, the better decorated the masks you will find and the area of the face that the mask covers is also likely to reflect in the price.

Leather masquerade masks

If your interest is mainly in getting hold of something very cheap then the option of leather masquerade masks is probably not for you unless you are prepared to stick with a very simple design that covers only the eye area. They will not be a great deal more than the same type of mask that is made of paper mache if this is all you need.

Those of you that are looking to buy ball masks that cover a larger area of the face and have a more unique design should expect to pay up to $100 more than you would for something similar in paper mache.

Prices will be between $40 and $300 depending on how good a mask you are wanting.

Beautiful yet expensive Venetian masks for special occasions

Those of you searching for cheap masquerade masks can forget about the following option here and now, this option is for the rich, the narcissists or those that are very much in the limelight for a masquerade mask event (Bride and groom in a masquerade ball wedding for example) that is very special.

It is possible to buy designed masquerade masks online that will cost you a pretty penny, up to as much as $650 is not an unreasonable price for your own design made to your specifications. A minimum of $100 is not an unreasonable budget to set if you are looking for something simple but I would not venture into this area unless you really need to look top notch.

Another thing to bear in mind is the way you dress, if you are going to fork out on something expensive please don't ruin the effect by turning up in a pair of jeans and a pair of dunks shoes!

Things to be careful of if you buy cheap Venetian masquerade masks

If you want to buy cheap Venetian masquerade masks for events which are not too formal you will probably find you have no real problems but you do need to be careful if you have to keep your mask on for a long duration.

Buying cheap masks made of either plastic, rubber or a mix of both will not provide you with much in the way of comfort and these materials can cause your face to perspire quite a lot. Not so bad until you take into account the fact that if you are wearing cosmetics on your face, it will begin to run and you will not look quite so good as you had planned.
